After graduating with honors from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater, Stacy became a professional actress and toured the country with a musical theater troupe. Stacy later returned to Chicago to attend law school with a full-ride Family Law Fellowship at DePaul University, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2004. She has since practiced in and around Chicagoland with prominent law firms exclusively in the area of family law and has handled a large number of contested and uncontested matters including complex, high net-worth divorces involving the classification and valuation of marital and non-marital assets, disputes over custody and visitation (now known as allocation of significant decision making and parenting time), orders of protection and restraining orders, pre and post-nuptial agreements, paternity matters, and adoptions.

Stacy received a certificate in Divorce Mediation from Northwestern University to serve as a mediator and Collaborative Law training to expand her practice and offer additional services in all types of family law cases. Stacy encourages her clients to explore Collaborative Law, which empowers individuals and assists them in crafting solutions that best serve their family’s goals. Stacy has been repeatedly recognized as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers and named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine. She served on the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck DePaul University Family Law Advisory Board for a number of years, is frequently asked to share her expertise with professional groups, and continues to pursue her love of performing through her participation in the Chicago Bar Association’s annual Bar Show.
