Financial Specialist

I have worked as a financial professional for 45 years.  My career began in public finance after receiving my B.S. in Accounting and Masters in Public Administration.  I first trained as a Mediator in 2006, and founded by divorce mediation practice in 2010.  I trained as a Collaborative Divorce Professional in 2011 received by certification as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst in 2012.

I enjoy working with professional teams to provide an interdisciplinary approach to assisting couples who are looking to end their marriages without resorting to a costly, stressful and time consuming court battle.  I use my mediation skills to ensure that each spouse has their voice heard in the collaborative process and use my financial skills to assist both spouses in achieving a common understanding of their financial circumstances.  We can use this foundation to analyze creative possibilities for dividing assets and debts of the marriage and exploring ways to make sure that two financially sustainable households can grow out of the divorce process.

I have over 1,000 hours of continuing education, as learning is important for all of us.  I have been devoting the last few years of my career to acquiring new skills using the Insight Mediation approach, which emphasizes curiosity and ways in which I can assist clients in learning from each other and building understandings as a foundation for productive conversations and decision making.
