Kathryn received her law degree from DePaul University College of Law and has been in private practice ever since. After seeing the toll that traditional litigation took on her clients and their families, she became a mediator in 1991 and a Collaborative divorce attorney in 2002. She has spent her entire career helping thousands of clients minimize conflict and successfully resolve their family law issues respectfully.

She was formerly:  a chair of the CBA Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee; a board member of the Mediation Council of Illinois; a board member of  Collaborative Divorce Illinois and spearheaded their training and education committee for several years.

Kathryn serves her community as a speaker at non-profit organizations; as a supporter of The Lilac Tree; and as a West Deerfield Township Trustee.
