Helena L. Trachtenberg

Helena L. Trachtenberg is one of the founding partners of
Cooper Trachtenberg Law Group, LLC, which practices family
law throughout Cook, Lake and DuPage counties. Helena is a
trained litigator, mediator, parenting coordinator, Child
Rep./GAL in Cook and Lake County, and a Collaborative Law
Professional. Whether litigating in the courtroom or
negotiating settlement, Helena enjoys working with clients and
families to develop strategies tailored towards achieving client
goals and the goals of families.
Helena was born in Minsk, Belarus and speaks Russian.
Helena is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial
Lawyers, a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the
Florida Bar Association, the Association of Women Attorney Lawyers of Lake County, the
Lake County Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar
Association, Collaborative Divorce Illinois and AFCC.
Helena completed her Mediation Skills Training at
Northwestern University.
