Fellows Brandi Ruffalo and Nancy Chausow Shafer will present Avoiding the Top Ten Tax Mistakes. Tax mistakes in divorce calculations can result in bad settlements for clients. We will illustrate the use of the powerful tax engine built into Family Law Software to avoid these mistakes and to support the mission of the Collaborative professionals to reach fair and mutually acceptable solutions. We will present the most common mistakes that we encounter and illustrate how to properly input and analyze them in Family Law Software.  We are looking forward to additional questions and input from the meeting participants so that we can all use FLS to work through better solutions for our Collaborative teams.
